Baby 1st Birthday At The Park

How To Have The Best First Birthday Party

Your baby 1st birthday at the park is a wonderful idea. Aside from the park being a free venue, the playground and gardens in the park are added bonus for a picture-perfect first birthday party. Before you plan on themes and other party stuff better book the park early. Go to the local park administrator and reserve a section of the park for your party. Ask the admin what you are allowed and not allowed in the premises when holding a party.

A great theme for a first birthday party at the park is a Pixie Garden party especially if it is spring. You do not have to decorate the park with flowers and plants as they are already there. What you can do is add some flower balloons to make the area more festive. You can add a candy flower garden by cutting out flower-shaped foams or styropore; leave the middle open so you can stick a lollipop in it. Attach sticks on the foam or styropore flowers and stick them on the ground. The little guests will have a fun time picking candy-flowers in the “garden”. Prepare cut flowers for the girls’ hair. String together some leis for the boys. Purchase or rent wind chimes and other garden accessories such as colorful windmills.

You can dress up your baby girl as a cute pixie fairy. If you have a baby boy, dress him up as a little pixie prince. You can ask your little guests to come dressed as butterflies and fairies. A themed cake with fairies in a flower garden will be a sure hit.

baby 1st birthday, by Charlotte Speaks Another theme for your baby 1st birthday at the park is your very own zoo, the cuddly variety! Have your guests bring their favorite cuddly animal. Set up mats and blankets for your guests to sit on. Set the food on a buffet table and let your guests eat picnic-style on the mats and blankets. A fitting birthday cake is an animal-shaped cake like a fat-pink-pig or a cute bunny rabbit.

You don’t really need to have a theme party at the park for a trip to the park is a theme by itself. If the park has amenities for a barbecue party, go for a barbecue party. Set up the grill, and fill up your guests with grilled hotdogs and burgers. Provide dainty sandwiches for your baby guests. Set up a platter of veggies like celery stick, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. Buy some ready-mixed salad dressing for the veggie plates. Go crazy on desserts with brownies and éclairs. Do not forget the birthday cake for the mandatory blowing of candles.
