1st Birthday Farm Ideas
A 1st birthday farm theme is great for a party as it is fairly simple to put together - always good when you are a busy parent and your little ones will have started to know the animal noises. Your party invites can have an animal on the front or a tractor to set the theme.Cover your party room floor with a green or brown blanket or material and find as many plastic and cuddly animals, plus tractors you can find and arrange them for your guests to play with. The best 1st birthday farm game you can play will be a sing along with all the farmyard sounds; old mcdonald, farmers in the den, baa baa black sheep, hickety dickety my black hen, little bo peep, tom tom the pipers son, and 5 little ducks to name just a few of our favorites! To get your little guests involved you could have finger puppets with all of the animals and to help you a cd with all of the Animal Nursery Rhymes. If you are not confident about organising all of the songs you could hire a professional - there are bound to be lots of toddler music groups in your area, ask them if they would be able to do a singing session at the party. You will have to pay but you may get a discount if you offer to put their contact details in your party bags.
Another idea is to have the party at a farm, a lot of farms are open to the public to see all of the animals, take along a picnic for everyone and let your one year olds have a birthday to remember!
